For my third attempt to rehouse a Sovtek Big Muff Pi, I was given an older blue and gray Sovtek Muff. After chatting with Ron from Ronsound, we determined that this version is very similar to the Red Army Distortion that Mike Matthews made for a very brief time. Amazing tone on this one...I wish I could have kept it!

As you can see, the enclosure is pretty beat up. The guy I did this for asked if I might be able to keep the original design intact. He gave me this picture as an idea for what he was looking for...red paint, black graphics, and an amber LED. I told him I'd fire up Photoshop and do what I could.
